Medical imaging is essentially the extraction of anatomical and physiologic information from a subject which is the patient and interpreta tion of this information in such a way that corrective treatment may be prescribed.Diagnostic imaging provides one method by which information can be obtained.The radiographic image presents the information in a visual form which is relatively easy for a trained observer to understand and interprete.
